This blog is far from perfect, and a few of my posts I even regret writing. (This one comes especially to mind.)
But I promise you that I will never repost any of my old blogs and call them “classics.”
Although the value of art is subjective, it’s pretty well established that the artist himself does not have the right to determine which of his own works is worthy of praise and has withstood the test of time. To do so merely exposes the creator’s hubris.

Hey! Jim Bennett here - longtime reader, first-time caller. I got a kick out of the fact that I'm the featured subject - victim? - of "Classic #4." I didn't realize I was on Jonathan Neville's radar. Nice to be an official member of the M2C SITH Citation Cartel! Are there lodge meetings I'm supposed to be attending? Or at least some cool M2C swag?
